Job Summary:
As a CCTV Licensed Control Room Operator, you will be responsible for monitoring our extensive network of surveillance cameras, ensuring the safety and security of our clients through vigilant observation and quick response to incidents. You will work collaboratively with security personnel and emergency services, utilizing your skills to assess situations and provide accurate reports.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Monitor live CCTV feeds and detect any suspicious activities or security breaches in real-time.
  • Operate and maintain control room equipment while adhering to all operational protocols.
  • Record and document incidents as they occur, preparing detailed reports for further investigation.
  • Communicate effectively with security personnel, coordinating responses to incidents as required.
  • Assist in the control and review of security operations and procedures to ensure compliance with legal and company standards.
  • Conduct routine checks and maintenance of the CCTV system to ensure optimal performance.
  • Respond promptly to alarms and incidents, ensuring communication is relayed to the appropriate authorities.
  • Provide support and training to new team members as needed.


Qualifications:

  • Valid CCTV License (or equivalent certification).
  • Previous experience as a CCTV Operator, Security Officer, or in a similar role is preferred.
  • Excellent attention to detail and the ability to remain calm under pressure.
  • Strong observational skills with the ability to react quickly and appropriately to incidents.
  • Familiarity with CCTV technology and control room operations.
  • Proficient in using computer systems and security software.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Flexibility to work various shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.

Is this you

  • SIA Guarding or Door Supervision licence
  • 5 years checkable work and address history
  • Reliable, punctual, flexible, and smart in appearance
  • Friendly, approachable, and always professional 
  • Enthusiastic and motivated to do a great job
  • Ideally some experience within a Security environment or a customer facing role
  • Able to interact with clients and customers in a positive manner
  • Some experience working within a Security environment and working as part of a team
  • Effective people skills, able to interact with clients and customers in a positive manner

Successful candidates will be required to provide original documentation for detailed screening and vetting processes. This could include the following: passport, driving licence, utility bill dated in the last 3 months, HMRC letter, original bank statement, original payslip, birth certificate or a valid share code.
