The Role
Carlisle Support Services is working with a prestigious client in West London, and we’re looking for motivated, approachable, and dependable people to join our team. The role of Control Room Supervisor is a key part of the Security team and will play a critical role delivering daily security operations, ensuring a safe and secure environment for tenants, staff, and visitors. - At least 18 years old - licence requirement by the Security Industry Authority.
- Punctual, dependable, flexible, and assured.
- SIA Guarding or Door Supervision licence holders.
- SIA CCTV licence holders.
- Able to work full-time shifts covering days, nights and weekends.
Previous supervisory experience in a CCTV Control Room is a requirement for this role. What’s just as important though is your enthusiasm and willingness to learn. We will provide all the training and support you need to succeed. Our goal is to help you to become a valued member of the Carlisle team.
Your core responsibilities will include
- Oversee the 24/7 monitoring of CCTV systems, fire panels, and alarm systems, ensuring all activations are correctly identified and responded to.
- Ensure all reported security incidents—via radio, phone, reporting app, or in-person—are promptly and effectively addressed.
- Ensure swift and effective crisis management and incident response.
- Ensure all control room staff respond effectively to incidents, including fire, bomb threats, and security breaches.
- Support the Control Room Manager to develop the team, ensuring ongoing competence in crisis management and security monitoring.
- Ensure security policies and procedures for the control room and wider security team are adhered to.
- Support the effective implementation of policies and procedures, with a particular focus on producing accurate, comprehensive reporting and professional entries within the security management system.
- Ensure the correct use and maintenance of electronic security systems, including CCTV, access control, and alarm monitoring software.
- Follow GDPR compliance within the Control Room, ensuring all team members adhere to data protection regulations.
- Being a smart, approachable, and proactive presence as a security representative.
- Building strong relationships as part of a supportive and professional team.
