Event Security Supervisor (Saturdays)

Job Overview
You will be working for our client onboard their trains and at stations on a designated line, managing a team of security operatives on event days. We are seeking a high calibre security supervisor who will set the standard of a 5-star service to our client, staff, and passengers of the network. This will include overseeing the deployment of security personnel onto trains and stations along the set route, whilst also overseeing the signing in process, managing break rotas, issuing of equipment and supervision throughout the shift. This would be based both onboard trains and at stations, with some remote supervision required when leading the team through incident management and network disruption.
The role is based out of either;
- Stalybridge station, Rassbottom Street, Stalybridge, Greater Manchester, SK15 1RF
- Huddersfield station, St. Georges Square, Huddersfield, West Yorkshire, HD1 1JB
The duty supervisor will be the main point of contact for the operational management teams and control centres for both Carlisle and Transpennine Express.
The shift pattern is 12:00-00:00 every Saturday. On Bank Holiday weekends (where the preceding Friday or succeeding Monday is a bank holiday, the shift would be 12:00-00:00 on both Saturday and Sunday,

Requirements
As a Security Supervisor you will be helping in all manner of ways including, but not limited to:
- Being the dedicated phone and radio holder for the TPE client
- Supporting the networking in adhering to it’s health and safety regulation
- Leading your team on security incidents
- Responding to crowd management issues
- Production of incident reports

- ... is flexible and reliable
- ... possess a valid SIA license, Door Supervisor-level minimum
- … possesses a full UK driving license, with access to their own vehicle OR is able to access either Stalybridge or Huddersfield railway station after the last train of the night.
- ... has excellent communication skills and an aptitude for working with the public
- ... has a friendly, approachable and professional manner
- ... has previous experience in security or customer care
- ... is willing to undertake our in-house training programmes
- ... is based in the West Yorkshire or Greater Manchester area
