We’re looking for people who are
- Friendly, approachable, and professional in all interactions.

- Experienced in customer-facing roles or interested in building those skills.
- At least 18 years old - licence requirement by the Security Industry Authority.
- Punctual, dependable, flexible, and assured.
- Door Supervision licence holders.
- Licenced UK drivers – this is not a necessity but beneficial.
Previous experience in security is great, but if you’ve only recently got your SIA licence that’s fine. What’s just as important is your enthusiasm and willingness to learn. We will provide all the training and support you need to succeed. Our goal is to help you to become a valued member of the Carlisle team.
Shift Times: Saturday Sunday Monday 06:45- 19:00
Please note that Relief Work is also available Days/Nights 06:45- 19:00 & 18:45 -07:00
The role involves:
- Being polite and professional to members of the public and the client
- Controlling access and exit to all persons and vehicles visiting the site
- Proactively respond to incidents on the site as necessary, including general disorder, fire drills/evacuations and site sweeps
- Patrolling the site as requested, maintaining check points and recording and reporting any problems or issues as necessary
- Screening and searching all persons entering the venue (including bag and body searches) when instructed by the client or contract manager
- Retaining and using information relating to safety and for evacuation purposes
- Responding to incidents and emergencies as necessary and ejecting persons from the venue if directed and necessitated by site managers
- Providing world class customer service to ensure our visitors have a positive and memorable experience
- Retaining and using information relating to key areas on site
Your core responsibilities will also include
- Offering guidance, information, and a friendly face as a first point of contact for customers.
- Ensuring the safety and security of colleagues and customers, providing a sense of assurance.
- Being a smart, approachable, and proactive presence as a security representative.
- Managing and responding to incidents effectively while remaining calm under pressure.
- Conducting security patrols, managing access points, and deterring unauthorised activity.
- Building strong relationships as part of a supportive and professional team.
