The role
Carlisle Support Services is looking for enthusiastic, reliable, and dedicated individual to be the “go to” person working in collaboration with wider HR teams. You will have an excellent understanding of HR processes and a very good understanding of the challenges people face.
Your core role will include but not be limited to the following activities:
Supports on long term sick cases in partnership with the external ER partner and relevant HR Advisor
Manage Occupational Health bookings for the division and follow up where required
Support with TUPE mobilisations and demobilisations across the business
Support with ER cases when required as a note taker
Support with drafting probation letters with the support of the relevant HR Advisor
Ensuring fairness of approach and confidentiality, you will ensure consideration is given to the sensitivity of HR related cases.
Carry out all training administration including sending out invites, providing lists of attendees and collating feedback
Complete all subject access requests for the relevant division.
Be an advocate of HR policies, ensuring you remain abreast of employment law changes and that updates and changes are embedded into division to ensure we remain compliant.
Stay up to date with People/ your HR trends and suggest new initiatives, improvements, and best practice where applicable.
Provides day-to-day support to the HRBP, HR Advisor’s and Head of HR when they are out in the field
Create and distribute HR reports including the weekly Head of Operations and MD reports
Creation and distribution of any HR communications including the HR newsletter, policy updates and news stories
Administer any appropriate reward and recognition schemes the business may offer.
Take a proactive role in the continuous improvement in the management of employee relations.
The ideal candidate
Previous experience in a People or HR Admin role
Associate CIPD or human resources qualification up to level 3 – nice to have
Excellent organisational skills, able to set own priorities and reschedule work in a changing environment and with multiple demands and competing priorities.
Pro-active and enthusiastic with a can-do attitude to problem-solving
Ability to remain calm under pressure and meet deadlines.
Experience in working in a fast paced environment
Superb communication and influencing skills with the ability to build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders.
This is a 6 month fixed term contract
Will consider part-time applications but working a Monday and Friday is a key requirement
Successful candidates will be required to provide original documentation for detailed screening and vetting processes.
This could include the following: passport / driving licence / utility bill dated in the last 3 months / HMRC letter / original bank statement / original payslip / birth certificate / a valid share code.
