Full Job Description
Carlisle Support Services are seeking a Security & Fire Prevention Officer to join our growing team in Merica Park, DE12 8AA (Just off M42 J11).
4 on 4 off, days, nights and weekends.
12 hour shifts, 0600-1800 / 1800-0600
42 hours average
Requirements
- SG or DS SIA License
- Physically fit,
- First aid exp
Prevention Officer duties include, but are not limited to;
- Support the Security & Emergency Operations security response capability which includes the protection of people, property, and assets.
- To provide FREC 3 level first aid (training can be provided) to serious medical emergencies,
- Monthly Fire Safety Reviews conducted for each area of the site
- Annual Fire Evacuation Schedule conducted for each area of the site
- Annual fire extinguisher maintenance (Training can be provided)
- To administer hot work permits to mitigate the risk of fire
- To work as an operational team member carrying out preventative work and audits covering all areas of the site.
- Quarterly Fire Hydrant tests
- Weekly Sprinkler system tests
- Weekly Fire alarm system tests
Interview process
The initial interview to be held on teams, after this if successful you would be required to come to site and have a physical assessment, this will be a bleep test (20m shuttle runs) around 8 min running time and a written assessment with reference to fire and first aid.
Desirable:
- Experience of working within the Security, Medical or Fire & Rescue industry.
