Carlisle Support Services are seeking a reliable and enthusiastic Receptionist to fulfil duties at our client Jaguar Land Rover at Merica Park in Swadlincote and surrounding sites. Part of your contract would be to act as resilience for JLR BAC Hams Hall. Should BAC need reception cover you would be expected to redivert from Mercia Park to BAC to deliver that support.

  Monday - Thursday 06:00 - 15:00
  Friday - 06:00 - 14:00
  Hours: 44 hours per week

Requirements:

  • Ability to work - travel across multiple sites, adapt to new environments, systems and methods of working
  • Applicants must hold a full driving licence, including own transport as driving is an essential part of the role requirement
  • Complete JLR Online Informed Person Training

Job Responsibilities:

  • Work closely with the Reception Teams team to ensure a seamless customer experience.
  • To always provide and deliver a Customer First Reception experience
  • To manage all visitors and customers to the Jaguar Land Rover site ensuring:
  • They are welcomed - greeted in an agreed, standardised and professional manner
  • Their needs are listened to and catered for
  • They are met by their Host prior to entering the site beyond the reception area
  • They are aware of any site rules and guidelines including relevant H&S information
  • They are booked in and out in accordance with site protocol
  • To deliver friendly, efficient customer service and to create a warm and welcoming atmosphere for all our customers/visitors
  • To provide solutions and support to the customer using in-depth knowledge of company products and services
  • Fulfil all reasonable requests from visitors/customers to ensure their comfort, satisfaction and safety offering hospitality/refreshments where appropriate
  • To operate a reception front of house desk welcoming and receiving all visitors/customers. Answering calls from internal and external customers ensuring they are dealt with in a professional manner and directing those calls accordingly.
  • To have the ability to focus on a visitor or caller making sure their immediate needs are met
  • Skill set to include the ability to maintain calm attitude when stress levels are high, the ability to prevent emotion from entering into one's voice when speaking to others
  • Booking in and out visitors via the JLR visitors booking in system
  • Issuing visitor badges
  • Checking ID
  • To provide telephone skills, verbal communication, Microsoft office skills, listening, professionalism, customer focus, organisation, team player and handles pressure
  • Ability to prioritise and organise tasks effectively
  • Ability to work well with different kinds of people
  • Managing and maintaining various databases, spread sheets & OneDrive documents
  • Processing vehicle passes and adding to database
  • To fulfil and carry out the monthly On-boarding process
  • To arrange/book meeting rooms via calendar bookings within the department including the creation of repeated events and one-off occurrences
  • Maintains security by following procedures
  • Fire Marshall. To be responsible for evacuation, in cases of emergency, acting as first point of contact for guests in the Reception Area
  • Maintains safe and clean Reception area by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations
  • Maintains continuity among work teams by documenting and communicating actions, irregularities, and continuing needs.
  • Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed

  • Manage access control, Creating new cards, adding and removing access, actioning leavers, produce reports containing access control data.
