The role

Carlisle Support Services is looking for enthusiastic, reliable, and dedicated individuals to join our team, working with our prestigious clients. If this sounds like you, and you’re willing to learn new skills to develop your career, we promise to provide full training and all the support you’ll need to help you to succeed.

 The role of a Site Security Officers involves: 

  • Being polite and professional to members of the public and the client 
  • Controlling access and exit to all persons and vehicles visiting the site 
  • Proactively respond to incidents on the site as necessary, including general disorder, fire drills/evacuations and site sweeps 
  • Patrolling the site as requested, maintaining check points and recording and reporting any problems or issues as necessary 
  • Screening and searching all persons entering the venue (including bag and body searches) when instructed by the client or contract manager 
  • Retaining and using information relating to safety and for evacuation purposes 
  • Responding to incidents and emergencies as necessary and ejecting persons from the venue if directed and necessitated by site managers 
  • Providing world class customer service to ensure our visitors have a positive and memorable experience 
  • Retaining and using information relating to key areas on site 

Is this you

  • At least 18 years old
  • SIA Guarding or Door Supervision licence
  • 5 years checkable work and address history
  • Able to communicate effectively, both spoken and written English 
  •  
  • Reliable, punctual, flexible, and smart in appearance
  • Friendly, approachable, and always professional 
  • Enthusiastic and motivated to do a great job
  • Able to interact with clients and customers in a positive manner
  • Effective people skills, able to interact with clients and customers in a positive manner

Successful candidates will be required to provide original documentation for detailed screening and vetting processes. This could include the following: passport, driving licence, utility bill dated in the last 3 months, HMRC letter, original bank statement, birth certificate or a valid share code.
