The role
Carlisle Support Services is looking for a dedicated and hardworking Deep Cleaning Operative to join our team. This role involves carrying out intensive cleaning tasks in commercial, industrial, and transport environments, ensuring high standards of hygiene and safety. You will be responsible for deep cleaning surfaces, equipment, and hard-to-reach areas, using specialist cleaning techniques and equipment. Your core role will include but not be limited to the following activities:
- Perform deep cleaning of designated areas, including floors, walls, and high-contact surfaces.
- Use appropriate cleaning chemicals and equipment, following health and safety guidelines (COSHH).
- Carry out scheduled deep cleans in line with company and client requirements.
- Ensure compliance with all hygiene and safety regulations.
- Handle and dispose of waste materials safely and responsibly.
- Work effectively as part of a team or independently when required.
- Report any maintenance or safety issues to the supervisor/manager.
Is this you
- At least 18 years old
- Previous experience in deep cleaning, industrial cleaning, or a similar role is preferred but not essential.
- Knowledge of COSHH and health & safety regulations (training provided if required).
- Ability to work in physically demanding environments.
- Attention to detail and commitment to high cleaning standards.
- Flexible approach to working hours, including evenings, weekends, and night shifts if required.
- Must be reliable, punctual, and able to work independently or as part of a team.
- Driving Licence (not required for all roles)
Successful candidates will be required to provide original documentation for detailed screening and vetting processes. This could include the following: passport, driving licence, utility bill dated in the last 3 months, HMRC letter, original bank statement, original payslip, birth certificate or a valid share code.
