The role
Carlisle Support Services is looking for a Regional Trainer to provide training solutions that meets the requirement of new and top up related SIA licencing regulations. Deliver face to face training in Security and First aid disciplines and courses that are relevant to our business and within skill set. Ensure that Carlisle Support Services remain compliant with all Security related training and any other training that may be required as part of the role. Work with the L&D team to maximise training opportunities and needs for the business.
Your core role will include but not be limited to the following activities:
Deliver training to a best-in-class standard that conforms to regulatory standards such as SiA licencing and First Aid.
Deliver training sessions that engage and inspire learners to be Sector Based Experts.
Work with Key Stakeholders in all areas of the business to ensure training compliance.
Modify and standardise training material.
Book suitable training venues for workshops.
Create and send training workshop joining instructions,
Ensure training meets Quality Assurance as stipulated by the awarding body.
Provide information and data to be published for the monthly board report.
Be a credible Subject Matter Expert in the field of training.
Review and maintain accurate data within the operation & training functions.
Generation of accurate and timely reports to be issued to key operational contacts (example reports to include Qualifications, Licenses)
The ideal candidate
Be a proficient face to face trainer.
Have evidence of face-to-face delivery in SiA and First Aid disciplines.
Excellent communication skills – articulate and focussed, proficient written skills.
Demonstrates the ability to forge and maintain relationships at all levels.
Good organisational/time management skills and ability to manage conflicting priorities and deliver to deadlines.
Focuses on results and aims to deliver an extraordinary performance.
Always take responsibility and accountability
Essential:
Minimum Level three teaching (PTLLS, AET or equivalent)
Current SiA Door Supervisor, CCTV qualification and licence
Current First aid at Work certificate and Assessor qualification.
A current certificate (updated annually) from an approved Level 3 programme provider which details that the trainer is authorised to deliver the skills in the approved Level 2 physical intervention programme.
Any of the following:
Level 3 Award in Understanding the Principles and Practices of Assessment (RQF)
Level 3 Award in Assessing Competence in the Work Environment (RQF)
Level 3 Award in Assessing Vocationally Related Achievement (RQF)
A1 Assessing Learners Using a Range of Methods
D32 Assess Learner Performance
D33 Assess Learner Using Different sources of evidence.
Level 3 Award for Deliverers of Physical Intervention Training in the Private Security Industry
Level 3 Delivery of Conflict Management Training (NQF/QCF/RQF)
Or the following unit from an assessor qualification.
Unit 1 Understanding the principles and practices of assessment.
Desirable:
Level two or higher Spectator Safety.
CIPD Level five in L&D
Covering the South.
Successful candidates will be required to provide original documentation for detailed screening and vetting processes.
This could include the following: passport / driving licence / utility bill dated in the last 3 months / HMRC letter / original bank statement / original payslip / birth certificate / a valid share code.
