The role
Carlisle Support Services is looking for a Recruitment Administrator to engage with candidates to support them through the application and onboarding process, with a focus on providing a positive candidate experience and improving success rates from application to deployment.
This will be achieved through regular contact with and tracking of candidates in the process, and liaison with internal teams – in particular the People Team who are responsible for new starter setup and the Compliance Team who are responsible for Security vetting.
Location: Hunts Cross, L24 9LG
Pay: £12 per hour
Hours: Monday-Friday 9am-5pm (No weekends/bank holidays)
Temporary rolling contract with view to extend into a permanent role
Your core role will include but not be limited to the following activities:
To manage the full recruitment process for candidates, providing support from first screening to interview, induction and onboarding
To manage and monitor all candidate recruitment activity with the ATS
To invite suitable candidates to interview and induction sessions
To ensure compliance with all recruitment related activity and employment legislation
To ensure candidates are kept up to date and informed at all stages of the recruitment process
Develop and demonstrate a good understanding of the core roles you will be recruiting and the sector you recruit for
To work closely with Contract Managers and develop strong relationships with wider operations, HR, and the operational support teams
The ideal candidate
Ideally some experience in a similar recruitment, administration or customer service role involving significant interactions with people, working in a fast-paced environment
Customer service driven, comfortable dealing with people on the phone
Good written and verbal communication skills
Competent IT skills, including Microsoft Word & Excel
Good organisational and time management skills, able to prioritise & meet agreed deadlines
Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues within your team and other support functions
Flexible & adaptable
Respectful of the need to maintain confidentiality when dealing with sensitive personal data
Self-motivated, demonstrates initiative & able to work unsupervised
