Job Overview:

Carlisle Support Services has an exciting opportunity for reliable and professional Security Officers to work for 

our client at their world class venue. We demand the highest calibre personnel who will provide a 5 star service to customers, staff and visitors to the venue. 

The level of professionalism expected will match the commitment we will return via your training, learning & development and through an impressive employee reward scheme.

We are looking for professional Security Officers to protect our client's premises, assets and personnel on event days. You will maintain a high visibility presence and prevent all illegal or inappropriate actions. 

4 on 4 off 12 hour shifts. 07.00am-19.00pm, 19.00pm- 07.00am

Duties may include but are not limited to:

 

Delivering the professional greeting of clients and visitors, to the highest standards.

Assisting in co-ordinating the day to day running of the estate, entrance/exits and liaising between VIPs, staff and visitors to ensure all relevant information is communicated correctly and efficiently.

You will follow the mantra of detect, deter, observe & report.

Monitor electronic counter messages including intruder detection system and perimeter detection systems.

Working with CCTV, IDS and BMS.

Ability to respond immediately to all alarms including BMS, fire & intruders.

Adhere to a strict patrol programme designed to prevent criminal activity.

Be an integral part of the traffic management systems.

Work effectively under supervision of the operations team.

Work in a professional and safe manner always.

Follow the mantra of  detect, deter, observe & report.

Observe for signs of crime or disorder and investigate disturbances.

Act lawfully in direct defence of life or property

Take accurate notes of unusual occurrences.

Report in detail any suspicious incidents

Comply with access control procedures.

Work closely with the client’s operational control room.

Traffic Management 

Access control 

Crowd control.

 

Attributes:

 

Valid SIA DS Licence.

Understanding of the UK Security industry.

High levels of fitness.

Excellent reliability and time management skills. 

Be able to work on a monitored radio network with excellent voice and radio procedures

Willing to learn and develop.

Flexible attitude to working hours (evenings and weekends).

Reliable and punctual.

Smart appearance.

Possess effective communication skills and ability to interact with customers in a positive manner.

Pro-active attitude.

Friendly, approachable and professional.

Access to own vehicle preferred due to location and hours.

An effective understanding of IT systems (Microsoft Office Suite).
