Contract Manager

Job Introduction

The role

Carlisle Support Services is looking for a Contract Manager for one of our prestigious clients, that will have ultimate responsibility for the security of the venue, working alongside the customer Head of Security. This role will lead the Carlisle team to ensure the highest possible levels of performance and security.   You will be accountable for the physical security of the site through the security operations function and play a pivotal role in delivering a world class security operation, covering all aspects of day-to-day security including events, whilst ensuring a positive customer experience.

Your core role will include but not be limited to the following activities:

•           To work in partnership with the customer to design and implement the overall site security strategy and policies, covering day to day operations, control room activity and events.

•           To ensure the Carlisle operation delivers a service in line with the security strategy

•           Lead incident management activity, including reviewing processes and procedures

•           To take responsibility for any security breaches or process failures leading investigations through the team

•           Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, ensuring alignment with the client`s strategic objectives.

•           Act as the point of contact for identified external stakeholders including the emergency services.

•           To assess service delivery and overall site security and propose changes to the customer

•           Conduct regular service reviews and ensure alignment with customers goals, challenges, and priorities.

•           Develop tailored strategies and solutions to meet the specific needs of the customer bringing new innovations on a quarterly basis.   

•           Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement effective service delivery models.

•           Prepare and deliver monthly reporting packs, continually evaluating effectiveness

•           To design and deliver and effective audit process across all operational areas

•           Present detailed financial reports to the customer monthly, including insights and recommendations.

•           Identify and resolve stakeholder issues effectively and efficiently, within KPI timescales

•           Implement solutions that address root causes and prevent recurrence.

•           Provide overall leadership and direction to the client`s Security team, fostering a culture of excellence and accountability.

•           Mentor and support team members, promoting professional growth and alignment with organisational goals.

•           Identify opportunities for growth, innovation, and enhanced stakeholder engagement.

•           Support the client`s ESG objectives and ensure Carlisle’s commitments to the client are delivered.

The ideal candidate

  • Someone that can ensure positive customer satisfaction and engagement through effective service delivery and collaboration. 
  • An in-depth knowledge and experience of security management whilst understanding customer needs
  • Developing customised solutions and leading a diverse team ensuring continuous improvement in service delivery.
  • An in-depth knowledge and experience of security operations, ideally with a strong understanding of Control Room operations and event operations

Successful candidates will be required to provide original documentation for detailed screening and vetting processes. 

This could include the following: passport / driving licence / utility bill dated in the last 3 months / HMRC letter / original bank statement / original payslip / birth certificate / a valid share code.
