Job Introduction
The role
Carlisle Support Services is looking for an Event Manager for one of our prestigious clients who will be responsible for developing and executing comprehensive security strategies for all the client`s Events and conferences, ensuring the safety of attendees, staff, and assets. The Event Manager will oversee security operations from planning to post-event evaluation while ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory standards.
Your core role will include but not be limited to the following activities:
• Develop and implement detailed security plans tailored to the specific needs of each event.
• Oversee the execution of security operations during events, ensuring compliance with regulations and industry standards.
• Identify and mitigate potential risks through thorough risk assessments and contingency planning.
• Plan and coordinate security operations for designated on-site events, ensuring adequate staffing and risk management.
• Provide on-the-ground leadership during events, ensuring smooth execution of security measures.
• Liaise with event organisers to anticipate and mitigate potential security risks.
• Prepare comprehensive event security plans, incident logs, and post-event reviews.
• Ensure all documentation is clear, thorough, and aligned with legal and operational standards.
• Maintain accurate records for compliance and continuous improvement purposes.
• Deliver engaging and effective training sessions for security staff to ensure readiness for each event.
• Conduct post-event debriefs and incorporate feedback into future training initiatives.
• Liaise with event organisers, emergency services, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless coordination.
• Maintain strong relationships with authorities to facilitate efficient communication during events.
• Act as the primary point of contact for security-related matters before, during, and after events.
• Oversee event and conference staffing, ensuring all personnel are scheduled and briefed in advance.
• Ensure all staff receive a comprehensive event briefing and are fully trained to perform their roles effectively.

- Experience in delivering events across a wide range of sectors and will understand the core components of a successful events management service.
